These test green roofs are used to measure Storm Water Retention, Storm Water Remediation, Plant performance and Urban Heat Island Affect using various types of growing mediums. Three different systems were chosen to monitor. We chose to install Bioroof systems due to its outstanding performance characteristics in each of the monitored catagories. Pinnacle Symphony Towers - Nashville, TN
The project consisted of installing 50 cubic yards of lightweight fill and 820 cubic yards of ERTH products Intensive green roof growing medium mix. The green roof was placed on top of the 7th story parking garage with a hose run of 90' vertical and 200' horizontal.
Private Residence -Nashville, TN
This green roof was installed on a private residence using various green roof components and Bioroof Systems organic growing medium mix. The owner wanted to add some green space to their downtown living. The green roof will be used for vegetable gardens, planting beds and an area of grass for the owner's dogs to use.
